Pray for shame
Shame
Shame says hide. Grace says come. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. The voice in your head is not the voice that gets the final word.

A prayer to start with
Father, You see what no one else sees. I bring it into the light. Forgive me. Cleanse me. Let Your voice be louder than the voice in my head.

Questions people ask
What is the difference between guilt and shame?
Guilt says I did a bad thing. Shame says I am a bad thing. The cross answers both. The first with forgiveness. The second with a new name.
How do I forgive myself?
Believe what God has already said about you in Christ. Self forgiveness is agreeing with Him out loud, every day, until it sinks in.
Will God really forgive what I have done?
Yes. 1 John 1:9 leaves nothing out. If He says faithful and just, He means it. Come. He will.
